Garden Workshop: Luffa Gourds
Date: Wednesday, October 28th @ 6 PM
Discover the magic of growing your own natural sponge in this hands-on Adult Luffa Workshop. Participants will learn how to cultivate luffa gourds from seed to harvest, including tips on trellising, watering, and maximizing growth in a home garden. The highlight of the workshop is the transformation process—harvesting mature luffa gourds and peeling, rinsing, and curing them to reveal the fibrous sponge inside. Each guest will get to process their very own luffa and take home a finished, ready-to-use natural sponge.
